Michael Keaton, an American actor and producer, is best known for his role in Birdman. A versatile actor he is skilled in playing comedy as well as dramatic characters. In addition, he has performed various romantic characters, and was in a variety of action-packed films during his professional career. The actor began his interest in acting and performing when at the age of teen and attempted stand-up comedy while young men. This was not a very successful comedy career, but it did pave the way to an acting career. In order to succeed as a comedian, he was offered a position as a cameraman with a local cable television station. He realised that his main interest was working in front of the camera when he worked for a cable station. After that, he was offered a TV role, appearing in several episodes Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a naturally gifted actor, and quickly became a household name on TV. He began a film career that was full of ambitions and gained a lot of attention for his comedic roles. The actor gained further recognition by playing the titular superhero within Tim Burton's Batman. He grew in his abilities as an actor, and moved into direction and production. The performance he made in 2014's Birdman brought him nominations and awards.
